"Did I go a little over the top tonight?"

Colin turned, fingers still deftly unbuttoning his shirt, to regard a slightly nervous looking Chip, standing in the doorway. "Hmm?"

"With the...you know...the..." Chip stuttered, circling his fingers around his head.

"Oh" Colin smiled, sliding his shirt off of his shoulders. "No, I can take 'em. Besides, it makes the audience like me" he winked.

"Sometimes I think I overdo it and I don't mean to I..."

"Seriously" Colin replied, his voice muffled slightly as he removed his T-shirt, "don't worry about it."

Chip heavily blew out the breath he didn't know he was holding as Colin turned back to his locker.

"It's just..." he began, studying the broad, slightly sweaty back in front of him. "Remember when you were little and you liked a girl at school? You'd pull on her hair, or aim spitballs at her; anything to make her think the opposite of how you really feel?"

"Yeah" Colin chuckled, removing his sweater from the hanger" I remember this one time..."

His voice trailed off at the feel of Chip's warm breath on his bare shoulder, in a ghost of a kiss.

"Oh..."
